The 117,000-ton, 2,850-passenger Celebrity Eclipse, the third ship in the innovative Solstice class, debuted in April, 2010.
In an interesting scheduling twist, instead of the normal media splash and cruise-to-nowhere, Eclipse was initially dispatched to Spain to rescue thousands of stranded tourists following weeks of airline disrutions due to the Iceland volcano. Following this "mercy mission" she entered regular service on April 26th, 2010.
Celebrity Eclipse will feed your wanderlust, offering the best way to explore the Mediterranean, Scandinavia and Russia from Southampton. In winter, enjoy the Caribbean sailing from Ft. Lauderdale.
